Responsibilities | • To assist Business Development Director and/or Manager for the process design / costing / proposal preparation • To work together with the Engineering / Project team for the costing / process finalization upon securing of project. • To work together with the Engineering / Project team for the overall project implementation, including but not limited to, internal system fabrications, site construction and installation works undertake by the Company. • Responsible in identifying any process issue and/or problem; and to provide efficient and cost effective suggestion and/or solution. • To participate in pre-project tasks, including but not limited to, participating in site survey; project proposal and quotation preparation; assist in technical discussion and equipment finalization and sourcing; preparation of technical drawings and/or plans; and etc. • To participate in meetings with customers, consultants, system and/or equipment suppliers, and etc., including before, during and after project securement, implementation and completion. |

Responsibilities | • Assist in the project from concept stage, design development, contract documentation, authority submissions and site administration during the entire project execution phase until the project completion. • Provide support on site installation, testing and commissioning or servicing jobs related to electrical and control package. • Order the necessary material required as per material take off (MTO) and co-ordinate with purchase department for timely delivery of the materials. • Read and understand electrical and instrumentation specifications, prepare job-list, work schedule, plan material takes off (MTO) and manpower planning of yard men and contractor for each given job which related to electrical, wiring and control package. • Work closely and collaborate with process and engineering department for design and engineering requirement as and when required. • Evaluates new electrical systems, products, components, and applications introduced by vendors and make the necessary recommendation if necessary. • Completes projects by training and guiding technicians. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Be able to design electrical distribution, control panel, light, grounding and lightening protection systems. • Be able to produce control logic philosophy, single line diagrams, load calculations analysis, short circuit studies, cable schedule, cable tray selection, cable routing, control loop drawings, instrument hook-up diagrams, interlocks and flow diagrams, I/Os list. • Be able to perform instrument selection, sizing, interface and index. • Basic knowledge on PLC, DCS and SCADA. Ability in selection of automation system, network architecture and HMI screen development will be a value add. • Basic knowledge in AutoCAD electrical. • To work closely with Document Controller and the Management to ensure and follow the ISO and OSHA compliance. • Be a leader in the managing all technical related matters. • Autonomous maintenance implementation for equipment’s • In charge of coming out with full root cause analysis in report for after a troubleshooting is undertaken in the line for losses. • Provide detailed performance analysis to identify structural problems, to analyze them and arrange for rectification. • Observes and actively enforces safe working practices as per company safety policies. • Carry out value analysis / value engineering (VAVE) Activities • Optimize the product design to achieve cost competitiveness • Support quality department in troubleshooting quality incident, provide technical solutions for manufacturing issues or customer issues. • Support supply chain department on evaluating the alternatives or replacements parts for EOL components. • Evaluate and improve current test coverage, cycle time and operational efficiencies. • Undertake, coordinates and timely execute any other assigned task or projects from time to time. |
